Bear in Desert stands out because the pairing is unusual. Bears are usually pictured in forests, mountains or colder wilderness, so placing a bear against a desert setting creates an immediate contrast. That twist gives the artwork more curiosity than a conventional bear portrait and makes it a good choice for painters who like wildlife with an imaginative edge.
The design can be enjoyed as both animal art and landscape art. The bear gives the viewer a clear focal subject, while the desert changes the mood around it. Instead of disappearing into familiar woodland scenery, the animal becomes even more noticeable because the environment feels unexpected.
Square sizes are available from 20×20 cm through 110×110 cm. On a smaller canvas, the bear naturally becomes the main attraction and the setting plays a supporting role. As the canvas gets larger, there is more space for the desert environment to feel like part of the composition rather than just a backdrop.
Round drills offer a relaxed placement style and can be a comfortable choice for larger canvases. Square drills create a closer mosaic and suit painters who enjoy precision. The subject does not favor one drill shape over the other, so use the version that fits the way you prefer to work.
This project is especially interesting for a bear collector who already owns forest scenes, mountain bears or close-up animal portraits. It introduces the same favorite animal in a setting that feels completely different. It can also sit well in an eclectic animal-art collection where realism is not the only goal. Bear in Desert is worth choosing because the environment changes the whole personality of the piece and gives a familiar animal an unexpected stage.

Not sure which size? Go one size larger when in doubt. Every drill is one point of the picture, so a bigger canvas shows more detail and richer color. A 30 x 40 cm canvas holds about 19,200 drills, roughly 10 to 15 hours of relaxing work.
💖 Soft velvet canvas with poured glue (no double-sided tape)
💖 Pre-sorted drills with spares, including AB drills
💖 2 drill trays and 1 pair of tweezers
💖 2 diamond painting pens and a 3-piece multi-placer
💖 2 pots of wax
💖 Instructions
💖 Sizes larger than 30 x 40 cm are packed in a box
Unpack the kit, sort the drills and tools, and unroll the canvas on a flat surface.
Pour one drill color into the grooved tray and dip the pen tip in the wax.
Pick up a drill with the pen and press it onto the matching symbol on the canvas.
When every symbol is covered, roll the canvas flat, seal it if you like, and frame your finished artwork.
✨ Better sparkle: fine-cut drills with smooth edges, cut evenly so they sit snugly next to each other without gaps.
🍥 Velvet canvas: a soft, wrinkle-resistant canvas instead of stiff fabric or plastic.
🧴️ Poured glue: instead of double-sided tape that loses its grip, the glue is poured over the canvas and cured, so drills stay firmly in place long after you finish.
🧊 Clear cover: a transparent film protects the canvas, so you can see the whole picture while you work.
🤝 Quality guarantee: if your canvas arrives damaged, or drills or tools are missing, email us a photo within 30 days of delivery and we will send a free replacement.
🅰️ Easy to read symbols: symbols are chosen to avoid look-alikes and printed sharply, so every one is easy to match.
